Be or Become is an independent primary care practice in Whitinsville led by Ehab Zekri, FNP, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. We care for adults from Northbridge, Uxbridge, Sutton, Grafton, Douglas, Upton, Mendon, Millbury, and the surrounding Blackstone Valley.
If you’ve been told your doctor isn’t accepting new patients, or you’re tired of ten-minute visits where nothing gets explained, this is a different kind of office. Visits are long enough to actually talk.

Your first visit
Your first visit is longer than a typical primary care appointment, usually 45 minutes to an hour. We’ll go through your health history, the medications and supplements you take, and what you want out of having a primary care provider. If you’re due for baseline bloodwork or screenings, we order them that day. Before you leave you’ll know what we found, what we’re watching, and when we’re seeing you next. Most patients tell us it’s the first time a provider has sat down and explained things.
How to become a patient
Switch your PCP
Contact your insurer and name Be or Become as your primary care provider. We give you the NPI they’ll ask for. Usually 2–3 business days.
Book your first visit
The switch usually takes 2–3 business days. Once it’s complete, we’ll call you to book.

Are you accepting new patients?
Yes. We’re currently accepting new primary care patients from Whitinsville, Northbridge, and the surrounding Blackstone Valley. Call (508) 722-4400 or send the form and we’ll confirm your insurance, usually the same day.
Do you offer telehealth?
Yes, for Massachusetts residents, when the visit doesn’t need a physical exam. Follow-ups, medication questions, and lab reviews are often done by video.
Where do I get bloodwork done?
We order your labs and you have them drawn at a nearby Quest location. We review results with you, not just a portal message.
What are your hours?
Saturday 11 AM – 6 PM, Monday 2 – 7 PM, Thursday 6 – 9 PM. The phone and contact form are monitored during the week for scheduling and insurance questions.
